Shamir is drawn to the way design impacts every aspect of how we live and think, and believes that architecture has the ability to transform us individually and collectively.
As a design lead, Shamir plays an integral role in our projects as well as studio life. He has worked on some of our high profile residential and mixed-use projects, applying design thinking with his ability to analyze and respond to difficult contexts and constraints. His holistic thinking about urban and social conditions and their relationship to architecture, and his skills in digital tools prove to be invaluable in projects such as, 685 Lake Shore Boulevard East, GM Mobility Centre and Forêt Condos, to name a few. Shamir is also part of our student recruiting team and a curator for our Design Lead Workshops, in which he helps build design leadership at BDP Quadrangle.
